1985 Endeavour E35 Sloop Sailboat in Boston MA

Stock #178392

A joy to sail and reliable in a seaway, this Endeavour 35' sloop rig is a boat for all reasons, whether a spritely daysail in the afternoon breeze or a comfortable two-week cruise with the family.

The seller safely cruised this boat in all weather from Nova Scotia to the Statue of Liberty.

The spacious cockpit is surrounded by teak in great condition and the main halyard leads back to the cockpit making easy single or short handed sailing.

The entire cockpit is covered by a full bimini in good condition made in 2008. There is a folding cockpit table forward of the helm.

Sail inventory we're told is in good condition including an Asymmetrical spinnaker, the mainsail using a Dutchman system and a 125% roller furled Genoa made in 2010 by Doyle Sails.

The dodger was rarely used but at anchor when raining to allow the companionway to be left open.

The two Lewmar 45 winches are self-tailing for the genoa and easily accessible from the helm.

Long distance cruising is made easy with the Raymarine ST 4000 autohelm.

In tricky anchorages or in snotty weather, there is both a CQR anchor with 50 feet of chain and nylon rode along with a Danforth anchor and 10 feet of chain with nylon rode.

Below deck is spacious with abundant natural light from the many ports and deck hatches. The finished teak shines bright and the cabin sole is in great condition.

The galley is to starboard as you come down the companionway. It includes a gimbaled stove top and oven using propane. The propane tank is stored in its own compartment topsides properly ventilated.

Aft of the stove/oven is the large 12-volt refrigerated icebox recently scraped and painted.

The galley includes a double stainless sink with hot and cold pressurized water.

To port of the stairs is a full chart table with iCom VHF and electronics here include a second Micrologic GPS. The 12 volt DC and 115 volt AC electrical panels are also located for easy access at the nav station.

Aft of the nav station is a very spacious quarter berth.

The teak in the main cabin is in great condition as are the two blue upholstered settees to both port and starboard. The cabin sole was replaced in 2007.

There is a cabin table but it was in storage and not on the boat at the time of the pics.

Storage lockers abound with a hanging locker with louvered door for the foul weather gear.

Like everything else in the main cabin, the headliner is in great shape showing no signs of any cabin top moisture intrusion.

Forward of the main cabin before the vee berth to port is the head featuring a nice separate shower, sink and again plenty of storage for toiletries.

The vee berth has its own hatch to the foredeck allowing plenty of natural light along with the ports for ventilation. Again, plenty of drawers to starboard along with more storage under the vee berth.

Information On Condition

This boat is in cruise ready condition with its many upgrades. Professionally maintained overseen by a sailor who has sailed globally extensively.

Repaired soft spot on cabin top 2016. New mast step in 2014 on top of keel. All ports replaced. The bottom was scrapped, sanded completely May 2019.
