A little of her past, she was designed by John Cherubini who was an important and admired American yacht designer during the 1970's. Cherubini studied naval architecture worked professionally as an aviation engineer. In the late 1950s and early 1960's he had a small shop building small outboard runabouts. Cherubini raced small sailboats, and in his fleet was Warren Luhrs. When Luhrs started Hunter Yachts in 1973, he asked John Cherubini to design the first Hunter they made which was the Hunter 25.
Cherubini was Hunter's primary architect for a number of years. In addition to the Hunter 25, he also designed the 27, 30, 33, 36, 37, and 54.
So today, 40 years later, an amazing well-kept Hunter 30 is waiting for her new owner. All around in very good condition for her age. She includes a Main, jib and roller furling genoa. Comes with a Dodger, Dinghy davits, Anchor and rode. She has a Force10 CNG gas stove/oven and gas grill.
Take her away today and sail with pride and pleasure in this beautiful and classic Hunter 30!
Extremely well preserved with her hull in great looking condition. Boat is winterized/stored and on the hard.
Mast, rigging, overall deck appointments appear in good condition.
She was in the water this past summer and all her systems are reported to be in good operating shape.
