Built in 1976, upgraded to 2020 standards, and ready to sail with impressive performance.
Ideal to "single hand" or load up the family for a great day on the water! This boat has never seen saltwater, so you won't find any corrosion anywhere.
Easily trailered behind a small car. Among the long list of features is the "electric retracting keel" and a newer "fuel-injected 9.9hp Suzuki engine".
The most recent upgrade includes the 2020 retracting rudder by RudderCraft, custom-fitted to this boat.
The detailed craftsmanship shows well through-out every aspect of this well-equipped boat.
MacGregor utilizes lots of foam blocks through-out the inner hull spaces. The boat can not sink and it's impossible to capsize. Very safe for teaching, general family sailing, and even racing.
Trail-Rite custom-built the single axle trailer for MacGregor, which is fitted with a spare tire & lock.
Oversized fender guard boat guides make it impossible to recover back onto the trailer incorrectly
The 3-gallon fuel tank is remotely mounted, not in the cockpit.
The engine is securely mounted with custom-built "highway hauling" struts (does not move or bounce while trucking down the roadway; very firm and secure
This MacGregor includes a Furling 135% Jib sail, stock Mainsail, spare Genoa sail (all in primo condition).
A correct size anchor with chain & 50' line.
Two custom Biminis are included (one vinyl with clear windshield, another custom made mosquito net bimini for overnight stays.
Custom fitted grab handles.
RudderCraft extendable Mast holder (for easy rigging).
Electric keel wench with Kevlar Cable and wireless remote control.

Custom build tiller.
