Although located in Canada, due to Canadian regulations, this boat is not available for sale to potential buyers in Canada.

After talking to this seller it is easy to understand that this is a one of a kind boat for the age. The condition of this boat may be better than new.

The seller's purpose for this boat was to make a fall trip down the Inter-Coastal Waterway. These comments are in his words, so you understand what you are getting for the money.

I asked the seller to tell me a little about the trip "I bought this boat with the intention of taking her down the East Coast ICW in the fall of 2016. Completely redoing the hull and keel made her as safe as a tank (3 layer of glass removed and replaced). Giving her a complete electronics instrument package with an auto pilot made her a joy to head south out of Annapolis...and the new stereo system let listen to the sounds of Jimmy Buffet as we headed down the Chesapeake Bay.

Two nights later we were at BWYC in Hampton Roads, VA, learning that the Great Dismal Swamp was closed due to flooding left over from hurricane Mathew. That took us down the Virginia Cut...a nice stop at Coinjock and we were in the Abermarle Sound. One of the great joys of a trip like this (my 3rd) was the sea food along the way. For flatlander from the Nebraska prairie, thats pretty hard to beat! Another joy is anchoring along the way in places where our only company was eagles, fishing in the morning.

One morning it rained so hard you couldn't see the water's surface, as the rain drops created a splash zone as far as you could see. It was nice having a cup of coffee in the cockpit, nice and dry, with the complete Bimini enclosure. Another morning, the fog was so complete it was like a shroud...quiet and peaceful before lifting and letting see the entrance to the Alligator-Pungo River Canal. We met several delightful people along the way, doing what we were, and kept running into them at harbor hangouts as we journeyed south.

One day the coast guard gave us an escort for the morning (actually we just happened along when they were traversing an area where they were ensuring boats left no wake. Hurricane Mathew raised the ICW so much that any waves off of a boat's wake ended up in living rooms of houses lining the ICW. That's a lot of water. On days with a west wind, we're we're able to move along nicely with just the jib out. Cha Ching has a 20 Gallon fuel tank and we only used about 60 gallons of diesel the whole trip. She sips diesel like a cheap date. "

"I clearly invested so much more in this boat than I can ever expect to recover. That's OK...I wanted to prep it for my fall trip down the ICW. Mission accomplished.

As info, the hull had 3 layers of glass removed and replaced below the waterline including the keel.. ($14,250) . 2 barrier coats applied as well as 2 ablative coats. (2014) The hull is actually better than when new.

The electronics installed cost $7,000.

New cushions added, Bimini with complete enclosure another$4000.

New prop, purchased a Yanmar 2GM20 F to replace the 1GM18F...Had it rebuilt from ground up and installed (2016) (another $6000). ( original year of the engine underdetermined at this time)

Installed an electric Raritan macerating head this fall (coast guard type 2 approved for ICW and inland waterway use).

4 batteries, The new battery charger also installed.

New VHF radio as well as Panasonic stereo system.

I have the FAMET Furling system specs for any buyer, as well as all electronic manuals. Lights in the cabin are mostly LED, and there are 2 kerosene gimbaled lanterns in the main salon."

This is a boat that not only has recently had more money on it than the seller is asking for it but is a boat that has been gone through and been fitted to be ready to travel. The fact that it comes with an almost new trailer that is not even mentioned in his description above makes this a one of a kind sailboat.
