The Bertram 28 Flybridge Cruiser is one of the best selling Bertram models ever, with an established reputation as a rugged offshore Sportfisher for the serious angler, with comfortable cabin accommodations.
The cabin layout includes a good-sized V-berth forward and the convertible dinette for you to sleep up to four on those overnight trips to the fishing grounds.
The galley includes a sink, 2 burner stove, and a nice sized refrigerator.
The head does include shower accommodations for those trips that are extra successful.
The large house battery with 1200 watt Inverter keeps the boat well powered for a weekend of fishing.
The helm is well laid out and the electronics package includes a Standard Horizon GPS Chart 170 in color, Furuno Radar, Furuno fishfinder, VHF radio and autoPilot. The autopilot however was never fully installed and is not currently functional.
The cockpit on the Bertram 28 is large enough to handle a large number of anglers without tangling lines, and the bait tank will handle plenty of feed for the weekend.
Powered by twin 5.7L Mercruiser engines, the Bertram will easily cruise at 20 knots.
This 1988 Bertram 28 Flybridge Cruiser has typical wear for a boat of its age. The engines were last serviced in October of 2021 and the bottom was last painted in 2020.
In the galley, the stove is relatively new but will need to be hooked up electrically to be functional. The autopilot will also need service to function.
This is a nice boat that can use a little refreshing in exterior upholstery, but in the meantime, will be a great vessel for bringing fish over the rail.
