Come into the salon and the first things that you will notice are the wide beam and the amount of natural light. The salon is attractive with nice upholstery and matching window treatments and includes a comfortable V-berth, Bluetooth stereo, a dinette sleeper, a cedar-lined hanging closet, and a nice galley with double refrigerator/freezers, a single burner stove, a sink, and ample cabinetry. The head includes a full-standing stall shower, vanity with sink, mirror, linen closet, and toilet. Temperature is controlled by an Aqua-Cal air conditioning unit which is housed in the flybridge to minimize the sound.

The cockpit is large & wide and provides easy access to most mechanical functions through convenient hatches for the generator, fuel/water separators, strainers, shafts & seals, etc. Engine access is excellent due to the large engine covers that function as lounges just outside and on either side of the salon door. Also in the cockpit are comfortable coaming pads, under gunnel rod storage, raw & freshwater washdowns, two large lift-out fish boxes, a live well, and a transom door providing access to the water via the custom dive ladder. Providing shade when needed is a custom sunshade designed by the seller and when away from the boat is a cockpit cover to keep it protected and clean.

The flybridge is surprisingly roomy with a custom dual helmsman seat behind the helm station and cushioned bench seating in front of the console. The large console is well laid out with flush-mounted instrumentation and accessory switches. Above there is a Garmin GPSmap 740s GPS & plotter with radar array and a Koden Chromascope CVS-812 as a depth sounder. The flybridge has a full enclosure with roll-up isinglass in nice condition.

Like the rest of the boat, the foredeck feels large and includes a big sun pad with reclined backrests over the windshield The bow rails provide easy and safe access to the pulpit and windlass.

This Blackfin 33 Convertible appears to be in very nice condition considering its age. Everywhere you look you see the details of the various customizations. It is attractive and tidy, and even the engine compartments and bilge are clean. It is obvious it was well-maintained and cleverly updated. The seller was able to document many of the recent updates including a recent haul out for bottom paint with two coats of barrier coating two layers of black bottom paint & another coat of red bottom paint as well as other hull work while the boat was out of the water (8/4/22). Other receipts show rebuilt heat exchangers (2018), a new starter (2018), new Cat water pumps (2017), new windlass (2017), etc. The seller states the engines have always been maintained on schedule.
