This used 1988 Boston Whaler is truly an offshore fishing boat ready for the water. It has been repowered with twin 2013 Yamaha 300 hp motors that have low hours. Each has electric hydraulic jack plates and new batteries with a battery charger. It has a 170-gallon fuel tank. This boat is Yacht Certified.
It has two air conditioning units that expand the comfort zone to include the canvas and isinglass enclosed area. The 5500-watt NextGen Diesel Genset generator which is only two years old will keep them running strong while out fishing.
Fishing electronics include a Garmin GPSmap 4212 Multifunction GPS, Radar and XM weather/music, and a Garmin 1243xsv touchscreen with sonar. Up top, there is a Garmin six-foot open array radar and pedestal.
Also included is a VHF radio, Lenco trim tabs, electric windlass anchor, washdown pump, 3 bilge pumps, fresh water system with 30-gallon tank, power steering, plenty of rod holders, two live bait wells, 250-quart Yeti cooler with bench seat top and custom fishing shades on sides, front and back of the boat.
The 2014 McClain triaxle aluminum trailer is included with the boat. It has a breakaway hitch, spare tire, and disc brakes.
The cabin has a sleeping area, a galley area with a sink and a bathroom with head, shower and sink.
This 1988 Boston Whaler 27FC is a hard core fishing boat and for being 34 years old is in good condition. According to the seller, all systems are functioning properly.
Some of the ancillary items and brightwork needs some TLC in the cabin. The vinyl on the seats has some small cracks and wear and tear. Seller has replaced isinglass in canvas on both sides of boat and is repairing the canvas enclosure that had a tear.
The trailer is in great condition and has new tires.
