Champion Boats are a proven manufacturer of smaller fresh and saltwater boats. The Fish Hunter model was Champion's entry to parallel the successful design of a Blackman or Luhrs fishing boat.
This Fish Hunter can accommodate the primary goals of any avid fisherman with this low-profile design and a large open deck to allow angling attack for your catch on all sides.
Large live bait well and below deck fish holds for your catch.
Below deck has a head with a shower, a small galley with a dinette that converts to a bed. Forward is a v-berth to accommodate 2-persons.
Bridge and helm are ideal for the Captain to keep watch for fish and a good eye on anglers reeling in their catch.
Anchor and windlass are ideal when coming into the shallows to drop the hook for rockfish or catch live bait.
Seller has rebuilt trailer with newer hubs and wheels.
Newer 2006 Diesel Yanmar engine is recently tuned by the seller starts up with no resistance. Newer turbo and sea-strainer.
Seller believes fuel tank is approx 200-gallon capacity but not confirmed.
Per seller; Head does not have holding tank. Freshwater tank is believed to by 20-gallon system which does hold pressure and is operational.
Newer outdrive "Kool-Drive" shower keeps the outdrive cool when running at higher boat speeds
Engine hour meter reads original hours on the hull. At some time the original owner (now deceased) replaced the engine after 2006 and never reset the hour meter. Current seller reports hours on the 2006 Yanmar are unkown.
Seller rebuilt the outdrive with a new transom plate.
Upper bridge canvas enclosure with isinglass.
No mini-fridge but cabinet can accommodate a replacement at buyer's choice
Minor dock rash and dings in gel-coat; no structural damage observed.
Bottom paint is expired.
