Hatteras boats are known for making top quality boats that can stand the test of time. The craftsmanship of this overbuilt is evident. The woodwork and tones reflect its era. This 37' sportfish has been captain maintained and is ready for its next adventure.
The cockpit is roomy and is ready to catch the big ones. There is an extended sunshade and cockpit sink area. Enjoy the best views on the bridge. There is room for several people with two large bench seats and pedal seating behind the helm.
The salon is bright and spacious. A large couch provides seating and pulls out to make a bed. The galley is equipped with a fridge, sink, microwave and cabinets. Stay cool and comfortable in the air conditioning that is powered by the smooth-running generator.
The mid-berth has two double bunks and a large storage closet. Opposite is the large head with a separate stand-up shower. The master stateroom has two berths, with storage underneath. There is a privacy door in the hallway and a private entrance to the head.
The well-maintained Detroit Diesel engines are reliable and powerful. They run smooth, cool and with no excessive smoke.
The boat appears to be in good overall condition. The boat was bright and clean. The cockpit shows minimal wear and tear. There are two soft spots that were noticed, one on the portside near the fuel fill and one on the foredeck behind the windlass. The windshield sunscreen is weathered, but useable.
The salon was cool with no musty smells. The headliner looks nice, the floor has been replaced with soft flooring. There were signs of previous leaks around the windows, however they no longer seem problematic.
The cabins look to be in their original condition. They look like they have been hardly used. They smelled clean and fresh. The looks original and functional. All interior cabinetry and woodwork is in great original condition. The floor has been replaced with foam flooring material and it appears to be in good condition.
The bridge is bright and clean. The helm is functional but weathered. The enclosure is cloudy and would make a good pattern. The hard top and pipes look to be in good condition. The wiring under the helm looked very neat.
Below deck is in well laid out condition. The engines look to be in good functional condition, with minor oil leaks and corrosion. The engine compartment was dry, with no old boat smells, no excessive grime and no clutter. The generator looked to be in good operational condition.
