The very first 45 convertible Hatteras built (1968), hull number 45C301, this is a rock solid battlewagon that the owner routinely ran multi-day trips 100 miles or more offshore. Her profile is the classic image of a sport fisherman with a high foredeck, sweeping sheer line and a spacious cockpit built for serious fishing.
In the cockpit is a large oval livewell and tackle station with cooler mounts beneath the ladder and a large fishbox in the center. With plenty of rod holders and outriggers, she's set up for trolling or bottom fishing action.
The expanded flybridge has seating forward and the helm aft to keep the Captain on top of all the action. Plus a full tuna tower for those sight-fishing days.
Inside the Renegade are two staterooms in the galley down configuration with a full galley, head including shower, queen stateroom bunk and twin V-berths forward. All interior spaces have new carpet and new furniture in the salon.
With twin Detroit 8V-71N's she cruises at 15 knots and top end about 20, carrying 650 gallons of fuel and 150 gallons of freshwater. She has the outstanding ride and seakeeping ability that this hull is known for, taking you in safety and comfort wherever the fish are.
The anchor windlass is inoperable and the overall outside paint will require sanding and repainting. A bottom survey is recommended.
