Update July 2021: the seller has finished his mechanical upgrades and she is in the water now and ready to go.
This 1980 Pequod 34 is one of the nicest boats of its vintage and style around. The Seller has meticulously maintained this boat and done extensive upgrades to the running gear as follows:
- one rebuilt engine with about 20 hours and one new create engine
-two new manifolds and rebuilt and inspected risers, 8 elbows replaced
- new shafts,
- new props
- new prop she's and struts
- new water pump impellers
The boat shows very well, with shining engines with many new parts and a super accessible engine room. There are a few small areas where a leak occurred around the salon windows which has been repaired, other than that, the interior is in original condition and in very good shape for its age.
The deck layout is great, with a sizeable cockpit for fishing....enter the cabin and you have the traditional 3 level layout. with the salon up, galley and settee on the midlevel and the master's cabin below. Woodwork is crisp and clean and the headliners are blemish-free.
She is ready to sail away, so call this broker to set up a showing ASAP.
