The Silverton 37 Convertible was one of the most popular boats in her class during the 1980s. Her story goes all the way back to the Depression-era New York City when Henry Luhrs began a boat-building company that eventually became known as Henry Luhrs Sea Skiffs. Luhrs and his two sons were a rapidly growing firm in 1965, building over 1,000 boats a year. This was considered a large operation by the standards of the day. Silverton Marine has built a series of powered yachts ranging up to almost 52 feet in length.

Unlike many other convertibles this size, the Silverton 37 Convertible comes with a single-stateroom floorplan with a full-size dinette in place of a second stateroom.

The hull of this boat appears to be in very good condition for its age, with some nicks in the stern, but nothing that causes any significant concerns. The elbows and risers were replaced in 2019 per the seller.

There are some items that do not work on the boat, so the price has been adjusted to account for those items: AC does not work, not sure why. The refrigerator works intermittently, the head is not working, not sure why. The winch for the windlass is not working, believed to be an electrical issue. The bimini top, rear canvas and cockpit covers were torn off during Ian and are not available.
