My hometown of Baton Rouge, LA is a special place surrounded by some of the greatest food and culture as well as fishing, hunting and outdoor adventures in the country - it truly is Sportsman's Paradise. I have been very fortunate to have lived my life around boating and sailing and have always had a love for being on the water. I was a rower at the United States Naval Academy and also had the privilege to compete on the Navy Offshore Sailing team sailing the Navy 44 foot sloops in the Chesapeake Bay. I went on to be a Navy helicopter pilot (SH-60H/F) making 3 deployments aboard the aircraft carriers USS John C. Stennis and USS Carl Vinson - so even then I spent many hours flying 150ft above the water or putting rescue swimmers into the water. I was able to return to US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD as the 2nd Company Officer where I taught leadership and aviation classes during the school year but during the summers took Midshipmen from Annapolis, MD to Newport, RI on sail training in the Navy 44 foot sloops. After almost 12 years of being an officer and pilot in the Navy I have returned to my hometown Baton Rouge, LA with my beautiful wife and 4 amazing kids and loving life in Sportsman's Paradise. I have maintain a commercial pilot's license and have ownership in a regional final mile trucking company here in south Louisiana and am always looking for opportunities to get out on the water.
