Growing up in Little Compton meant being at the yacht club every day. A long career in financial services and insurance with a heavy emphasis on customer service has lead to a $3 million book of business. My personal philosophy has always been to 'work for and represent' my client, while I'm 'affiliated and contracted' with insurance carriers.....now that same philosophy carries over to POP Yachts.

Living my life by the golden rule with respect and integrity, my prospects and clients should expect the same. From a professional standpoint I've never had a claim against my E&O liability protection in over 30 years in the insurance/financial services industry. Expect the same level of integrity and professionalism in helping folks find their next boat or sell their current one.

My clients are secure in the knowledge that I always do the right thing. I look forward to helping buyers and sellers alike.

Doug has been great. To be honest I am very impressed by the level of help Doug is providing. My partners and I unfortunately are trying to trade our boat for a bigger one. If we decide to sell however I will definitely be reaching out to Doug.

Hi Jenny, Doug is the broker for a boat down that is 200 miles from my home; a boat that is actually less desirable than a comparable boat that is for sale seven miles from my home. But because Doug has been so quick to answer questions, return phone calls and emails, and just generally be really, really helpful, it looks like I am going to buy the boat 3 hours away. The broker for the boat closer to my house has been terse, disinterested, snarky and slow to respond to my questions. The fact that I am willing to make two trips to Rhode Island from Maine should speak volumes about the way Doug has represented the seller and his boat. I realize that a $20,000 sale is not going to make any broker wealthy, but I can tell you that thus far, Doug has treated me like I am interested in a $200,000 boat, and has represented POP Yachts in a manner that any company should be very, very proud of.
