After Kelly left the University of Mobile, he obtained a job at a sales company, where he quickly rose to becoming branch manager over 60 employees. Here, Kelly began to see his talents in leadership.
Later, he was offered a sales job at a company, Wacky Fun Factory, an entertainment gumball vending machine supplier. Within a very short amount of time, he was able to double their sales, the President of the company quickly recognized Kelly's talents in business and promoted him to Director of Operations. Later, he was offered the opportunity to purchase the company. The owners felt their business would be left in great hands.
Kelly did purchase the company. Kelly had a vision for its growth and it flourished. While president and owner, the offices expanded to Canada, Australia, Brazil, UK, India, and Mexico.
After the selling of Wacky Fun Factory, Kelly became a freelance independent contractor for an online marketing firm. Kelly had an immense deal of success with this company, which was based out of Nashville. After five years, and a great deal of traveling, it was time to settle down a bit. Kelly became a regional business developer with an advertising agency based in the Southeast. He enjoyed developing relationships with local business owners, and helping them increase their business.
Finally, after pursuing other opportunities, the lessons in personal development and leadership that guided Kelly's career, directed him back to the industry he loves. At POP Kelly Loves connecting boat and RV customers to their dreams of a great lifestyle!
