I've enjoyed boating a long time ... ever since my Boy Scout troop chartered a couple of sailboats for a week-long trip from Ft. Lauderdale to the Bimini chain in the Bahamas many years ago. Once my parents bought a lake house (which they still own) and purchased their first boat (a pontoon), I've learned even more of the joy/pain of upkeep ... but also the extreme fun!
