About
Me
My experience boating started growing up on the Illinois River, where my dad went into the murky water with my sister and I while my mom drove the bowrider and taught us to water ski in one day at the ages of 5 and 6!

All of my best childhood memories are of being on the water with family and friends - and yes, once hot wiring the boat when we couldn't find the keys as teenagers!

I spent one unforgettable summer working on a gulet based out of Marmaris, Turkey and at the age of 36 started to learn to sail with The Mountaineers Club in Seattle (of all places!)

Shortly after that I became the program coordinator for the non-profit organization Sailing Heritage Society, which offers free therapeutic sails to children and families from Seattle Children's Hospital, Fred Hutch, Ronald McDonald House, Make a WIsh Foundation and many others along with families living in domestic abuse shelters and at risk-youth. One of the best perks was definitely getting to crew on the 65' schooner Mallory Todd several times a week and seeing the excitement of the families, many sailing for the first time!

Since the beginning of 2015, I have helped buyers in Australia, Texas, New York, Florida, Canada, South Carolina, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Alaska, Mexico, Maryland, Connecticut, Colorado, Virginia, Georgia, California, Washington, West Virginia, Jamaica, the Czech Republic and several in Hawaii find their perfect boat. I hope I can help you too.

I work with an amazing team of people across the country who genuinely love selling boats and making the experience hassle-free and enjoyable for both buyers and sellers.

Please just let me know how I can help.

I had a great experience with them!
I completely recommend POP Yachts. I was having trouble selling my boat trough the "usual channels", so when POP Yachts contacted me and explained their process, I figured I'd give it a try. I wasn't confident that they were actually going to be able to sell it, but I figured, what do I have to lose.
The result was my boat being sold in a very short time. I was actually very surprised. And the best part is there was nothing to lose, and very little that I had to do.
There is no upfront fee. The only fee is paid by the buyer, to POP Yachts once it's sold.
They sent a person out to take pictures of the boat, and get info about it. My "liaison" was Kristin, and she was wonderful! She explained everything, and was always there when I needed to ask questions.
Then, upon closing the sale, Rusty took care of everything. Which was great, because to be honest, I wasn't really sure what I was going to have to do if I had sold the boat myself as far as legal paperwork etc... I think that's why people like to buy boats through a company like POP Yachts, because they handle everything and you don't have to worry about any issues that could arise from dealing with someone directly on your own.
Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience with everyone involved. Mahalo!!!
