One thing I was told at a young age is the only thing you can't buy is time. I've been luckily enough to take that serious. I am a father of three, all who love adventures. We basically live on the water or our traveling different sites by car, RV, train or anything that can get us to the next place.

I have my masters captains license and enjoy teaching the kids to sail. Summers are spent in ski boats on lakes around the Seattle area, or searching for whales in the Sound. Our get out of town place is down in Marina Del Rey, California were we have a sail boat and go explore the open ocean, and get away from the crowds.

When we are on land, we love to explore the national parks. Last year, we explored and camped with a travel trailer across Yellowstone National Park. The family had such a great time we are going to try to make it a yearly event, with scattered camp trips around Mount Rainier and on Orcas Island.
