Living in the Annapolis area, boating is a large part of my life. I grew up with a love for everything about the water; the beach, the Chesapeake Bay, swimming, boating, kayaking, rowing, and, of course, eating seafood. There's nothing better than getting up early, taking the dog out on the boat, exploring the river and bay, anchoring to play with the dog, and coming home thoroughly relaxed and exhausted (unless you count long distance motorcycle trips, or singing for an appreciative audience)!
My first full time job was as a boatyard technician. I learned about working on sail and power boats from the bottom up. Although I moved on to other jobs, that one is still my all time favorite.
