I learned to sail at summer camp in northern Minnesota as a youngster. When I moved to Massachusetts I bought my first boat, a 17' sailboat with a cabin. I sailed her in Boston Bay and then moved her to Tennessee where I sailed on Pickwick Lake for a few years. While in Tennessee I traded up to a Hunter 23.5 water ballast trailer sailor and then I drug her up to Port Clinton, Ohio on Lake Erie. We sailed the Bass Islands and into Canada a few times before bringing the Hunter down to Louisville Kentucky. After a couple of years on the Ohio River there we sold the Hunter and bought a Gemini Catamaran. The Gemini was a great boat for our intended cruise and she carried me around The Great Loop and much more for two years of cruising. The cruise ended in Galveston in 2002 and I have been selling boats in the Kemah Texas area ever since.
