Steve Neuenschwander was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 29, 1947, and grew up in Berne, Indiana. He graduated from Berne High School in 1966 and then attended Vincennes University, Vincennes Indiana for one year. He transferred to International Business College, Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
During his lifetime, he has attended Indiana Institute of Technology, Community College of the Air Force, University of Maryland (European and Pacific Divisions). He has sufficient credit hours for a Master's Degree in Business Management.
Steve joined the Marines in May of 1969 and served at Marine Corp Base Twenty-Nine Palms, California for two years. He transferred to the United States Air Force and then retired from that service in 1994.
He worked as an English instructor teaching Korean Soldiers and as a new car salesman for the Post Exchange for the United States Army and then employed as a full-time civil servant from 1995 to March 2001. Since that time, he has held a real estate license providing real estate residential and commercial services in Indiana and Washington States.
Steve's military and civil service career saw him active in the Judge Advocate General Departments of the US Navy (Marines), US Air Force and US Army. He served in the capacity as a paralegal, claims investigator, criminal investigator, law office manager, legal administrator and finally as a civilian criminal judge accompanied with the title and responsibilities of Law and Order Officer.
Additionally, Steve was on the faculty of the Air Force Law School and taught law disciplines in claims and tort litigation and conducted classroom seminars in criminal justice, maritime law, aviation law, international law and judicial advocacy. He further authored and co-authored two legal manuals that were distributed to the Air Force Legal Community worldwide.
Mr. Neuenschwander is a decorated combat veteran who served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
He has worked in the sales profession for over 17 years concentrating in vehicle, home Safety and real estate, Yachts and RVs.
When asked about his philosophy he states there is no compromise for strong ethical and professional behavior. He strongly believes that the client comes first and foremost above both personal and professional goals. He strives to ensure that his association with others results in a satisfactory experience for all.
He enjoys golf as his leisure pastime as well as active and passive participation in community service.
