I feel very at home in that place.
Camping in the mountains of Western Maryland and mostly on the Outer Banks in Eastern Coastal North Carolina were a regular place to spend many summer and fall days and weeks.
My mother spoke often and to anyone with an open ear, of my beginnings, my very first sentence spoken was......"No go, Go BOAT"!
When I was 2 years old, my parents took me to the marina where our 32ft. antique wooden boat named 'PRINCESS' was docked. Upon our arrival to our car when we had packed up and left, my parents discovered I had disappeared. Frantically searching, they found me standing on the dock, facing the transom of our beloved PRINCESS saying with all the conviction a 2 yr old boy can muster......"No go,..Go BOAT"!
I guess it must have been flowing through my veins from the very beginning of my life and I spent the next 15 years enjoying the benefits of parents who were boat owners and provided the benefits of boat ownership to our family spending many days, and nights, on the water. I was fortunate enough to have a father who taught me the value of owning and enjoying a boat and I grew up having enjoyed so many moments cruising the waters of the infamous Chesapeake Bay and all her creeks and backwaters.
Those experiences from the very start of my life have influenced me greatly in so many ways and I have benefited from them to this very day. Because of those early days and all the wonderful experiences connected to my times on the water over the years, I count it a privilege to be a part of the POP Yachtsales family and it will be my pleasure to 'pass on' to you even a small part of what I have been gifted with from the beginning of my time cruising the open waters until this very day. I count it a privilege to serve you as a member of the POP Yachtsales team. Welcome !
