Custom design built onto a 40ft Navy launch vessel. The hull was originally laid up by Willard or Uniflite(owner estimates from the 70s). Finished off with a custom pilothouse and cabins in 2000. The original lifting rings are still under the floor. There is a lot of deck and interior space. Powered by a 6-71 Detroit Diesel with just over 2,200 hours (exact year of engine unknown at this time) . It has a 24-volt bow thruster, Garmin 740 w/ RADAR, Garmin 540, 2 VHF radios, 2 house banks w/ 2 8D batteries (1 new in Dec '15, 1 replaced end of 2016), 2 8D starting bank, Custom 24-volt electronic throttle and shifting system (fly by wire), 6KW Inverter (4X1500), 4 battery chargers, 9kW generator, marine air forward and an extra window unit for rear. The bottom was last painted in December 2015. The top side needs fresh paint.
The interior layout has a nice main salon with port side bench seat which can also be a single berth. There is storage under it and in-floor. The aft cabin is spacious and has a full-size memory foam mattress, large hanging locker and lots of dresser drawers. A large vanity has storage behind the mirrors or could double as a desk space. The well laid-out helm has everything within reach and great visibility. The galley is forward and has lots of counter space, fridge/freezer, deep sink, 3-burner stovetop and oven, and plenty of storage. A huge convertible dinette can be a u-shaped lounge or large sleeping space. The fold up table expands eating area. There is a port-side desk and just rear of that is a spacious head with separate shower stall.

These hulls were originally 40ft designed for Navy use. This had the pilothouse, rear swim deck, lazarette and bowsprit added expanding the deck space and creating a beautiful trawler with only exterior paint TLC needed.
While taking the photographs I saw dry bilges. The motor hadn't been started in 6 months and fired right up. The hull and bottom paint were done in December 2015. The owners have the full logbook and all manuals are included for every system onboard.
