1973 Defever Passage Maker Single Perkins Diesel 156 hp. Introduced in 1973, the DeFever 40 Passagemaker is a fiberglass semi-displacement hull produced by Jensen Marine in Costa Mesa, CA.
It has two staterooms each with its own electric flush head with shower. Prince electric range, two way refrigerator and freezer, microwave, ice maker, Yamaha stereo Bose speakers, radar, aluminum mast, grill, flat screen TV with DVD, three working A C units: one marine two window. All safety equipment is up to date and fully stocked.
Both fuel tanks are almost full....holds 900 gal. The single Perkins Engine 6354 runs good. The Onan 12kw genset is working.
Would make a perfect live aboard.
She needs some work to wax and clean up the decks. Seller started rewiring the fly bridge but never finished. There is rot around one of the salon Windows. More inspection is needed.The forward A C needs a charge.
Seller states that the engine is running well. The electronics did turn on.
The Onan 12kw genset had a new water pump installed and seller says it is working well now. The swim platform needs some bolts put back in it.
