1973 Grand Banks 36 Trawler in Long Beach

Stock #185260

This is a chance to own one of the last wooden Grand Banks built. The boat has a forward cabin with V berth and its own private head access is from the main saloon with an opening hatch for air.

There is an aft cabin with two single berths a head with shower and a lot of storage/closets. The aft cabin has access from both the main saloon as well as a companionway to the aft deck.

The main saloon has the galley (under construction) a dinette and the lower steering station. You can watch the world go by with the large saloon windows that surround you.

The flybridge has a great view all around the boat as well as enough deck space to hold a dance or entertain all your family or friends.

There are no cushions and the hull has several issues that need addressing. This is a project boat only a strong project person with skills in marine wooden boats should be interested.

Information On Condition

This boat is a work in process, the engines fire right up and sound good. There is still some finish work to be done in the galley and saloon. The exterior wood and brightwork need attention to bring your sandpaper and paintbrushes.

Also, the boat is in need of modern electronics.

She would make a great home for someone who wants to finish her while living aboard.

There are several age-related issues pertaining to the hull that need to be addressed. This is one of the last wooden hull production boats and someone with strong project skills and a vision can bring this classic back to its solid classic beauty.

The boat is sold as-is where-is. NO survey or Test Drive.
