This unique vessel was custom built for a former commodore of a very famous yacht club. The hull (which is 1.5 inches thick solid fiberglass) was extended 17 feet and a second separate aft cabin was added.
The aft cabin has twin single bunks and it's own head.
The main salon also has a wood burning stove a dining area and an inside helm with full controls and instruments.
Forward a very large and well equipped galley is to starboard while on the port side is a large head and shower.
The bow has 2 comfortable bunks.
The interior wood work and detail are in great condition and reflect the very best of Maine boat building skill.
Above the cabins there is comfortable seating for at more then a dozen people as well as a helm station with a second set of controls and display for the complete Garmin electronics package.
The exterior wood sheathing has been water damaged and needs to be replaced. There several large holes in the deck and smaller ones on the edge of the upper deck which need repair.
For the most part the exterior wood damage has not allowed water to enter the cabin and damage the interior woodwork but it needs to be addressed before water get inside the boat.
There is a lot of marine plywood that was simply painted and has now rotted that needs to be replayed but the cabin roof is supported by solid wood posts which should allow the cabin sides to be removed and replaced without taking off upper deck.
This boat is an excellent opportunity to fully restore a classic yacht and recreate something of lasting Beauty and value. It's not for the faint of heart or the light of wallet but in the right hands it could be a boat that dreams are made of.
The hull is solid and then interior is amazing but the outside of the cabin and the deck need immediate repairs.
Engine and generator are not currently operating but may function once properly serviced.
Bow and stern thruster and complete Garmin electronics system, and VHF radios are included but their operating condition is unknown and the electrical system needs updates.
