This is a beautiful classic Wallace tugboat that has been retired from her many years of work. She is being refitted with a yacht configuration with three en-suite cabins plus a crew quarters. Fully developed plans are available to guide your efforts to complete this fantastic project.
Imagine the spiral staircase that rises from deck-0 where it is adjacent to the bow stateroom and separate crew quarters, The spiral staircase leads to the main deck with the galley, salon and a stateroom. The staircase continues up to the helm on deck-2 where you will find the 3rd stateroom.
Utilizing the original wheel and hydraulic pump, the new hydraulic controls for the throttle, gearshift, and rudder were professionally engineered, fabricated, and installed by a Seattle based engineering firm.
Marvel at the new yellow cedar structural beams in the bow, the decorative headers and structural woodwork in the upper level and helm areas, and the structural and functional wooden guard and sponson; all engineered and installed by a premier Seattle boat repair company. The original construction has also been reinforced with new steel and finesse, retaining the beauty and craftsmanship of the the original cast iron knees. The ship is well on its way to being restored to its original glory.
The Wallace was originally a steam-powered vessel that was outfitted with a Caterpillar 300hp diesel, which has been completely rebuilt by a premier Seattle engineering firm (documentation available).

New structural yellow cedar beams in the bow, the wooden sponson and guard on the exterior, and the upper level decorative headers and structural woodwork were engineered and installed by a local ship repair company.
New 2 x 1000 fuel tanks (onboard, but not installed.) with 200-gallon day tank.
Hull is reportedly sound and tight.
