Located in Port Richey (Tampa Bay), Florida, this 24-foot used Aquasport 225 Explorer is a nice walkaround fishing boat. Ideal for fishing but equally appropriate for families wanting to enjoy the day on the water.
The 225 Explorer features a large cockpit set up for fishing with a live well, rod holders, under-gunnel rod storage, a floor fish box, tackle center, and downrigger. There is seating for four in the cockpit, but the aft two jump-seats can be removed and folded for easy storage. At the helm are two pedestal seats for the captain and passenger. The helm includes the tachometer, fuel gauge, voltmeter, and compass as well as the panel for accessory switches, circuit breakers, and 12 volt and USB connections.
The cabin is nice sized and provides a place to escape the sun or to spend the night. There is a V-berth to sleep two, the VHF radio, a sink, sliding cabin windows, a stereo, lighting, and even more rod storage.
Other nice features of this 225 Explorer include the bimini top, bow seating, swim platform with ladder, and trim tabs.
This Aquasport is powered by a 2000 Johnson OceanPro 225 HP engine and comes with a dual-axle trailer, included in the price of the boat sale.

This Aquasport 225 Explorer Walkaround appears to be in good condition for its age and is well-maintained. It is kept in covered storage. Only minor nicks were observed in the gel coat and one soft spot was noticed in the cockpit. The seller states it has been regularly serviced and service records are available to the buyer. The engine appears to be original to the boat and runs as intended according to the seller. The seller also explains both batteries were replaced recently, and the speakers still need to be replaced.
