2017 OUGTHRED WEE SEAL 20

This Ougthred Wee Seal is custom-built from scratch sailboat. The seller constructed her with craftsmanship and a love for sailing!

The planking is Sapele plywood, glued lapstrake construction. The frame is Honduras mahogany and Douglas fir.

All the fasteners are bronze with Raka epoxy. The hardware is bronze, Davey of England, and handmade. The deck hardware blocks are rope-stropped ash, also handmade.

The standing rigging is 5/32" 7X19 stainless steel with hand-spliced eyes by Brion Toss rigging and the running rigging is vintage polyester.

The sails are tanbark polyester, by Dabbler Sails, hand-finished. There are three reefs in the main, and one reef in the jib. The mast is raised with the included gin pole.

There is 800lbs of lead ballast so she can handle the weather well.

She sleeps crew in twin single berths! Comfortable for weekend trips!

This custom-built gaff sloop rig will catch your attention! The seller ordered and built this sailboat with craftmanship and sailing knowledge.

This boat is in sail away condition. The owner confirms the motor runs well and the trailer was recently rebuilt 2 years ago.
